Throughout my practice I have been influenced chiefly by my surroundings, namely the city. I am intrigued by the sense of worldliness which it provides immersing myself in the urban fabric, industrial textures and the abrasive patterns and colours which you find once you strip through the veneer of a modern city.
More recently I have begun juxtaposing the hard lines and abstract forms typical of my previous work with the softer forms of more natural elements such as clouds, smog and smoke all which are also a part of living in an urban world.
The works featured in this archive show the development of my career over the past ten years, concentrating on artworks which I have created using digital methods which I have used exclusively for the last five years.
Throughout my career I have tended to work in series, finding that the elements of each collection often follow into the next.
The works displayed in this section are displayed in chronological order beginning with the most recent series, ‘Tectonic’.
